Augustine update

2006-01-24 17:07:07
Seismicity at the volcano remains low but above background levels.

The thermal-imaging and gas-sensing flights have successfully completed their missions. Augustine Island webcam has been repaired and is sending back images.

It's colder than a well digger's ass in the Klondike.
I am in Kenai and it's minus 20 right now. I have to work on planes all day out there. Getting ready to run fuel for the Iron Dog.

Well, keep warm!

As you can see from the weather deal at right, we've warmed up to 0°F. The Iron Dog should be interesting this year with the low temps.

Nice site Marc. If you have any freezer burned or unwanted, uncooked salmon, Bird TLC could use it. Stocks are low.

Thanks for visiting.

Good news Dave. I hope your volcano can continue to vent its frustrations quietly...

She's staying pretty quiet TG. We could use some of the warmth though.
