Bird TLC had a bandage and wrap class taught by Cindy Palmatier yesterday. It was a full house of both new and old volunteers. A lot of fun was had along with a lot of learning. In the picture at left, a pheasant was used as our live patient. It was extremely tolerant of our practicing on it.
Thanks go out to Chris Maack for the picture.

LOL...when your post first came up, I thought it said "Bondage" and I got all interested...
:)
I never get to see much of the rehab aspect of our facility, since I am always running around getting the program birds together. The only side of rehab I see regularly is the pick up, which I still do because it's fun. Then I hand the bird over to one of our rehabbers, and I may or may not see that bird again.
Susan - So now I know what to post on to gather more interest. LOL
I do more of the maintenance around TLC, but I do a lot of other things as needed. I'm chairing an auction in February, I have another mew to build but at TLC, I do pick up also, I help in the clinic, I do a little of everything and now I'll be doing programs soon also.
So, are you learning how to bandage birds too? What a fantastic place you have there with opportunities to do so much. It's a shame that the closest animal rescue clinic is so far from our place. As much as I want to participate, I won't commit to the 40 miles (one way) for the adventure.
Robin - I'm into a lot of everything. But, I need to back off some and watch the overload factor. Support your local rehab the best way you can, even if it's just donating supplies or money.
