and will stay longer. He's now at home in his new mew. His training name is "Ghost", Bird TLC's Snowy Owl. It took a while and a lot of work, but it's worth it.
He wasn't too sure of the new surroundings at first, but he has calmed down. He ate 6 large mice right down. I have a few small things to rearrange in the mew tomorrow, but all went well.
Sorry for the picture, it was getting dark.

Hooray!
6 large mice! He musta been hungry.
If owls could look happy, that's the look he has on his face.
Evern notice that owls seem to have two expressions? Disgusted, or startled.
So glad he is finally with you!
Welcome home Ghost!
Susan - That's is what he usually eats, 6 large or 7 medium mice. He was hungry though. It was a long day for him. We had training in the clinic for volunteers first and then training with me. It was late when we got home.
Laura - Ghost thanks you.
Looking good, and he must be comfortable if he's eating right away. You're looking good with Ghost in the previous post too.
Thanks Pam. He's somewhat comfortable. He is trying me a little and still needs to get use to the new mew and other surroundings.
He does look good there, dave. What an amazing adventure you and Ghost have embarked on. I am so looking forward to further posts of your time together.
