Today was another good day at The Great Alaskan Sportsman Show. Today a Northwestern Crow, a Merlin and a Northern Hawk Owl were presented. The crowds again were good sized and steady.
This Northern Hawk Owl is full grown. He's actually 9 years old this spring. In the wild he would only live about 9 years. We're not sure how old he can live in captivity.

I'm surprised with how small the Hawk Owl looks!
Not that I would know, but I always imagined them to be big!
